Meermaals met Jana samengewerkt aan opdrachten. Jana heeft een sterk gevoel voor concept, en beheerst uitstekend verschillende technieken voor bewerking van verschillende materialen. Daarnaast is ze gedurfd, en creatief en heeft zij een holistische aanpak. Haar ideeën zijn eigentijds en modern, maar tegelijkertijd eert zij de klassiekers met haar ontwerpen.

Afgelopen jaren heb ik meerdere workshops bij Jana Chocholackova gevolgd. Jana is een vakvrouw die haar kennis en ervaring op een ontspannen en leuke manier kan overdragen. Na een korte uitleg ga je aan de slag en leer je over allerlei (mooie) materialen, gereedschappen en manieren van leer bewerken. Daarnaast kan je aan de verschillende projecten van Jana zien hoe veelzijdig en creatief ze is. Ze is heel inspirerend, net zoals haar aanwijzingen wanneer je even niet weet hoe verder te gaan. Mijn tassen, riem en portemonnee vind ik nog steeds mooi en gebruik ze vaak. Ik kijk uit naar de volgende workshop, heb ideeën voor nog een tas.

Jana is the absolute best person to work with! She's got TALENT and great energy! We worked together a few years ago on a new line of leather dog collars for my online store. I could not wish for a better person. She put together unique designs that were not only beautiful but also very practical. And it was not just the designs, she did a significant amount of work studying the materials, learning what's best and most suitable for dogs, etc. In the end, she came up with a unique, extremely long-lasting, and sustainable solution, which was the idea all along. So if you are looking for someone to guide you through anything from design to completion, she is your girl!

Jana, was such a pleasure to work with. I have clients that were interested in getting some bespoke leather bags and after asking around and doing my research I came across Jana. She was a breath of fresh air , so very open to doing something really interesting and new. The quality of the leather products was absolutely stunning. In fact my clients were so very happy that they are now organising more orders from their network.I could not recommend Jana more. She is super professional and so very friendly. Plus her studio is easily accessible and central. It's such a cool space in a very old beautiful Amsterdam building.Thanks so much Jana once again.

Voor mijn opdrachtgever hebben we CHOCHO LA CKOVA gevraagd om een lederen prototype van mannen laptoptas laten maken. Dit was een uitdagend project geweest waar onze samenwerking een enorme succes bij de opdrachtgever was. Vervolgens werd een kleine productie in Slowakije gemaakt. Ben zeer tevreden en kan iedereen het aanraden om contact op te nemen als ze ideen en vragen hebben. De eigenaresse is een top meid!

During my visit in Amsterdam a couple of months ago I followed the workshop at CHOCHO LA CKOVA.Even though I am absolutely not skilled, Jana encouraged me to finalise my leather belt and gave me confidence to start my own projects. She is also very funny and welcoming.I would definitely recommend this workshop and making a part of Jana’s amazing working place to anyone.

Last year I asked CHOCHO LA CKOVA to help me out with a challenging project for my client. Jana was exactly this period in Slovakia where we together visited a few leather suppliers who she is usually working with. Because of her proactive personality and keen eye on every detail, my client's high expectations were fulfilled. She gave us outstanding advice on how to recreate very explicit interior design items in a certain colour palette. This project turned out to be a big success. Thank you Jana for your help. Last month I got a private lesson in repairing my vintage Celine leather jacket.I was impressed by the creative approach of Jana and her advice. She showed me some handy tricks and taught me how to maintain my favourite jacket to last longer. You should visit her and the great atelier. She is very open-minded.This was an amazing experience while staying in Amsterdam during my business trip.
