Pet Shop Salty is my favorite pet store in Amsterdam. It has so many good things for dogs, cats, birds and other pets. It's easy to just pop in here, get what you need and be on your way. No need to wonder around all types of pet supplies you don't need. The owners here are very knowledgeable and also friendly. I enjoy chatting and catching up with them every time I shop there.They also have cute kitties and puppies for sale at certain times (call ahead). But what my two dogs love the most is their lekker dog treats. A HUGE selection with such great prices.They also provide dog grooming and other services.Located right by the Kinkerstraat and a quick walk from Vondelpark. You won't find another pets store in the city with so many things to spoil your babies with.

Great people. Place looks a bit messy on first impression, but all your petsentials are here. Also small portions of all good brands of pet food and delivery service available. I support my local indie pet store ;)

Best place to find anything you need for your pets! The owner is super nice and always happy to help, also will spoil your little one if you bring it to the store. Will always come back!

The best place in Amsterdam for pets! The sales assistant there is super nice, I went there to buy presents for the dogs that are in the shelter I volunteer in and he even gave me presents on his side. It’s really obvious when someone has true passion for the animals and it’s the case indeed!

Salty has everything you need for your pet. It's a frendly family run business and they are adding in extra delivery service as a benefit. Salty also provides high quality grooming for your dog. Allways leave the store with good food/accessories for my dog. They love animals, you notice it in the way they communicate

had two dwarf hamsters and one bird for sale, both in incredibly bad condition (hamsters overweight and in way too small cage with no wheel or anything except for food, bird seemed very depressed and also in small cage with nothing to do), i left feeling sad for them

Left my hamster when leaving for holiday for 2 weeks. She had the best care there. She even got her cage cleaned. We got her back in great condition and very happy. Awesome place with amazing people!
