Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam

We have been attending this school for the past two years and we love it. They have a great familial community that I find helps my children succeed. Their international curriculum helps prepare the children to work and grow in an increasingly multifaceted global economy. The children are individually challenged and encouraged to work well in diverse groups.The school has a developing sports program and offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities that are based at the school to help ease some of the stress of parents with minimum transportation access.

AISR is such a great school - very easy for a newcomer to feel at home. Teachers are awesome and understanding. The school may be very small, but it most definitely works to the advantage of the children and parents. Great place of learning with great staff.

AISR is een kleine school met betrokken leraren. Er is een beleid dat gericht is op het nemen van verantwoording voor je eigen opleiding in een stimulerende omgeving. Wij hebben voor deze school gekozen, omdat de betrokkenheid groter is dan in het reguliere onderwijs in Nederland. Ze heeft er een fijne schooltijd gehad, veel geleerd en discipline ontwikkeld en met vrienden overal in/uit de wereld. Inmiddels is ze vertrokken naar IE University in Madrid. Aanbevelenswaardig!

We lived 2 years in Rotterdam and our 2 sons attended to this school. I can only say great things about the school and about the friends we made there. It is very important to mention that the 4 teachers with whom we worked were excellent and helped our kids in some difficult moments, but It was also a great plus for us the social life we created around the school. The size of the school, the activities they plan, the welcoming cafeteria and the personal engagement of the director make the life of the expats much easier and allow them to make friends very fast. The kids can use the playground after 3pm, so they can interact with other students while the parents socialize in the cafeteria if they want. Overall great experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone moving to Rotterdam

This is not a school, this is a place where teachers, directors and staffs are able to understand, support and drive the pupils. I had 2 sons here and It has been a wonderful experience even if they attended the school during the pandemic. The school has been always in touch with the students and families with the maximum possible effort. Highly advisable.

Een fantastische school waar leraren nog echt begaan zijn met hun leerlingen. Mijn twee kinderen hebben hier veel voor het leven en hun aanstaande studie geleerd!

Finding a school like NAISR that meets your children’s needs academically and socially is key. The teachers are approachable and kind. The staff understand that our children and their students are far from their home countries and bring the children and cultures quickly together as one. They embrace diversity and celebrate successes.

Our family had an opportunity to move to Rotterdam from Chicago in mid 2016. Ever since we first visited the school in June, the staff has been extremely welcoming and have built a tremendous sense of community and have welcomed us like family. As parents, we enjoy spending time with our two girls as they participate in many school functions including monthly assemblies and the many holiday programs that go on throughout the year. Our two girls are able to walk to school and are sincerely enjoying themselves getting to know other international students through sports programs and other after school functions. Our family truly enjoys what AISR is uniquely providing, an intercultural family-environment, dedicated to academic excellence. We couldn't be happier.

We couldn't have asked for a better first school experience for our two kids than NAISR. Well equipped facilities, motivated teachers and staff, supportive school community, fun and engaging classes. Our children have benefitted immensely from the multi-cultural environment and creative teaching methods. Pre-Covid parents had multiple opportunities observing the kid's activities at school. Communication and distance learning was handled very well during school closures in the Netherlands.
