We did the travel like a local (or something like that) experience. It really wasn't an enjoyable experience. It was just straight boring, my wife fell asleep. It can be good but I felt like the tour guide really didn't do a good job. He was cool but you more or less had to ask him questions in order to find anything out which is great and all but there is a lot of stuff you may not know to ask. If you weren't asking questions he was pretty much silent. I would recommend avoiding this. There's better things to do.

Nice boat ride through the city. Plenty of information in lot of languages. You get headphones at the beginning.

Joop dr kapitein is een toffe peer. Jammer dat er geen begeleiders meer zijn en alles via koptelefoons. Ik snap het op zich wel met al die verschillende nationaliteiten, maar een rondvaart verliest zo toch aan charme

1 hour boat ride through the beautiful city of Amsterdam gave me a very good insight into the history of the city. The boat was nice and comfy and I totally forgot I was on water. The mixture of the recorded tapes and the captain's additions made the trip worthwhile. I also loved the subtle humor from both the recordings and the captain. This is a must do for everyone visiting Amsterdam for the first time. It really helps give a bird's eye view of major historic monuments.
