Dutch with Joy - Expat Language School

I have recently completed a 3 week customised intense Dutch course with one of Joyces lecturers.It was exactly what I wanted and was adapted as we progressed based on my needs.I have improved leaps and bounds in not only my ability to read and write Dutch, but also in my confidence to speak Dutch.I have since intentionally only communicated in Dutch when I am interacting with a Dutch speaking person and it's going very well.Joyce has a phenomenal team and always goes the extra mile to support her students by arranging time with native Dutchies, allowing more time to practice and learn as well as continuous communication ensuring that I was happy.I would recommend her language program without hesitation.

I'm finishing my first course at Dutch with Joy, and it has been amazing! My online course has been both useful and enjoyable. In less than a month, I could notice how my Dutch level had improved significantly, and I could understand and explain everyday things more easily. The teacher was very professional and made the classes fun and engaging, and Joyce herself was very attentive in helping and providing advice. I'm happy to say that it went so well that I've already subscribed to the next course, and I can't wait to start it. If you are looking for an effective and enjoyable way to learn Dutch, I highly recommend giving these courses a try!

Really happy with Dutch with Joy, they were very accommodating with my schedule and arranged a private one-on-one class for me. It was incredible! I signed up for the Afrikaans speakers classes and it was really helpful to have a teacher with an Afrikaans background, I understood certain things alot more and received some great tips & tricks.If you have any doubts, this is your sign to book the class!

Hi, I'd like to recommend Dutch with Joy language courses. The course that I took helped me to prepare for my language exam in a very short period of time, my teacher was flexible and adapting to my requests during the classes and created a comfortable atmosphere:) I also liked the meetups that Joyce organised for the students- a great way to meet more people and learn more about the language and culture! I passed my exams successfully and now am continuing to study with Joy!;)

The course was very helpful. My goal for the course was to improve my ability to speak the Dutch language and the course was primarily focused on speaking. Every lesson was spent practicing sentence construction. This ultimately gave me more knowledge on the Dutch language but also gave me more confidence when speaking Dutch. The Lecturer Joost was extremely helpful and patient and did really well to maintain the interactive aspect of the lessons. I highly recommend this great school for improving your Dutch skills at any level.

As an Afrikaans speaker I've had such a great experience so far with Dutch with Joy. Can highly recommend the personal approach during classes and experience that the teachers bring to the table!

So glad I signed up for one on one classes, makes such a difference. It’s great to be able to have the classes online and manage around my work and travel commitments. The learning method is amazing and I feel like I’m making progress and most importantly my teacher - Monique is amazing! Highly recommended!
