Animal Army Brewery

The Fiddler, Irish pub. Very nice establishment, friendly staff, typical pub menu, quality of food is not excellent but at least decent. Moderate prices. I joined their Pub Quiz, it was very busy, but waitresses were constantly looking and serving drinks fast, that was excellent. Atmosphere was very lively and the quiz added an extra touch to the pub-experience. Top!

Really liked the selection of beer.. And the bacon burger tasted great...it hit the spot..

The Animal Army Brewery is the name of the in-house brewery which is part of the Fiddler Irish Pub. This area of The Hague has a bustling night life with many places to eat and drink. The city central square is often crowded and many people sit outside when the weather is nice. A short distance from the main square is the Fiddler, a popular Irish pub. Inside is a a long wooden bar which has a few stools. On the left is an enclosed room housing their wood-jacketed copper brewing vessels. Walk up to the bar for drink service. They have 5 house beers on tap, which are brewed here, and an overhead chalkboard lists them. I found these to be of average quality, decent but not exceptional. Additionally they also have about 10 guest beers on tap including the traditional Guinness Stout. The bar has curved brass tap towers and an overhead shelf of glassware. The bar is mirror backed with more shelves of glassware and core liquors. The place is loud with background 80's pop music and the roar of happy conversations. The floor is wooden, the ceiling is metal plated with an ornate style, and the walls are yellow with wood trim. There is an upstairs level with additional seating. Their food menu consists of English pub appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and pub fare. The bartenders are welcoming, friendly and prompt. It is a fun, lively place.

Very nice place. Lots of beer types, including a number of local brews. The dishes range from 4.5 Euro (for a snack) to about 13 (for the main course). The staff is very friendly. Local stout beer is said to have coffee and chocolate flavour - not there, it's nice, there's honey... bread... but definitely not coffee & chocolate. Many snack options with cheese. Super gezellig en een hoop keuze aan bier , wel 250 soorten. Gewoon een gezellige tent.

Riesen Auswahl an Bieren. Junges dynamisches Team, flott unterwegs. Das Ambiente extrem geil.

Locale davvero bellissimo e caratteristico, curato nei dettagli. Birre artigianali di loro produzione ottime! Consigliatissimo. Prezzi nella media: intorno ai 3 euro per un bicchiere.
