Camille Dolibeau
Camille heeft onze 130 jaar oude strijkciter gerestaureerd waardoor het weer een toonbaar en bespeelbaar instrument is geworden. Camille is erg vriendelijk, neemt de tijd en heeft onderzoek gedaan naar de herkomst en waarde van het instrument om zo de mate van restaureren te kunnen bepalen. Erg tevreden over het resultaat.

Camille is a very nice person and a very good professional: she got the work done quicker than anticipated and also realized some more problems on my instrument that were not the main reason I went to her. She fixed for free!! Very grateful of her work

Camille did a fantastic job on my violin. New bridge, sound post, strings and general cleaning. It sounds better than ever! She truly understand the ins and outs of sound adjustment and won't be happy until you are fully satisfied :)

Camille really has the gift when it comes to making instruments. I purchased one of her cellos several years ago. Its sound is even throughout all registers, from the rich, resonant bass to the golden, shining A string. The combination found in this instrument of projection and warmth is a rare one, especially in new instruments. I can only give the highest praise to Camille’s work, and hope that other people find their way to her workshop to enjoy instruments of such quality.

I looked for Violinmaker/Violin repair all over the Netherlands and I was not satisfied with their service and answers... until I found Camille Dolibeau. She is an artist in violinmaking/repairs, with a lot of experience, very polished technical skills, and very kind and helpful as a person. I totally advice her and her work!

Camille is a great violin maker. She looked after my viola after a few years of negligence, and she really brought it back to life. She tuned it very nicely, and it now sounds very warm and equal on all strings, which is exactly what I wanted. She was very attentive to the fine tuning of the instrument, cared for what I wanted and then achieved exactly that with professionalism and consciousness. She repaired all the little chiping on the soundboard which you really can't notice anymore. She also rehaired my bow and all this for a very reasonable price. I will definitely go there again!

I would say Camille is my (violin) life savior. I found my violin online in poor condition. I took it to some luthiers (even the famous ones), they seemed a reluctant to restore the violin. One person even did not have a confident at all for the violin. But I wasnt gonna give up that easily. Universe made my way to Camille. She had a faith and voila.. i have been playing my violin for more than two years now and the sound is getting better and better. She sees the instrument with her passion and also care about it. I am very lucky to have her as the luthier for my violin. Even though i have moved out from Amsterdam, i dont care. She still the luthier and she is the one who resurrect my violin
