It has a lot of vegetarian/vegan options which is nice to see. Food was alright, didn’t taste super good and the portions are a hit or miss, either too small or too big portions. Prices are on the expensive side. Really recommend the coconut yogurt bowl. Since it’s located in schouwburgplein it gets quite busy on the weekends, so make sure to come before noon if you don’t want to wait to sit.

Great food breakfast and lunch healthy options as well as nice coffee and drinks options. We ate too much and didn’t have enough space for desserts.

Restaurant is at a great location near the schouwburg square. Outside terrace under big trees. We ate dinner started With a snack plate with fried colli flower, Olives, hummus pickled red onion and falafel balls. All very tasty. Main course for me falafel burger. My wife roasted colli flower. White beans and cherry tomatoes.Red potatoes. For my son Greek salad with a side order of fries. All excellent. Clean modern interior. Friendly staff. Some Dutch speaking some English .

Clean, bright, and welcoming!My wife and MIL have food allergies so it was so nice having a place we could go and have so many options!We went twice in the week we were there and it was all delicious!

Positives: Breakfast on a cold Sunday morning, large variety of unique & healthy selection to start the day. The chai latte was excellent.Negative: However the prices are extortionate!

Lekker op het terras een biertje gedronken met heerlijke bonenkroketjes. Daarna binnen gegeten. Aardige en goede bediening, lekker veel goede Vega en vegan keuze. Bierkaart mag iets uitgebreider.

The place has a nice vibe even though it was quite busy. We had a reservation for brunch and the service was fast. The food came all at the same time, we were a group of four and all the dishes were very nice although not memorable. They have a wide selection of dishes and drinks. The juices and teas were nice as well. The price reflects the quality of the ingredients and the location. The stuff speaks English which was a great addition. All the dishes were very well presented. This is a good place to go with a group as the menu have enough options for different likes.

I was actually about to give Bertmans a four star but having read all the reviews complaining about prices. I thought better of it. Being a tourist from Edinburgh, I actually thought the price was decent. Quite a variety of vegetables and fruits. The buckwheat and almond milk pancakes were very interesting. I wouldn’t necessarily prefer that to the normal pancakes but an experience nonetheless. Thoroughly enjoyed my green juice. The one thing I was disappointed about was my poached egg was slightly over cooked. The service was a hit or miss. One particular server (who seemed more experienced) helped corrected our orders and we really enjoyed engaging with her.
