I love Lanzhou beef noodle soup so this was a must try while in Rotterdam. They are all made fresh to order and you really can taste the difference! All of the sides are self service and delicious to boot.WILL be back!

Yellow River Lanzhou handpulled Noodles
Heard about Lanzhou Noodles from a few of my Chinese colleagues, some saying it’s the closest thing from eating noodles in Lanzhou. You order at the front counter, wait for your food up there then take it to your seat. I ordered the Knife-scraped Noodles with Beef. I wanted slightly more flavor but it was still really good. Also you can get some veggies/salad from the front. This was a great complement to the soup. Also nice how you can add as much chili oil to your table that you want, I put in a decent amount.

Super authentic!! Lanzhou noodles have a Muslim origin in China so it’s often halal. Fast ‘self’ service, absolutely delicious. Please try the stir-fried knife-shaven noodles (not in picture)!

Food is good Authentic Chinese.We called beforehand if we need reservation. The guy answering phone said no reservation possible but might be busy.We arrive and there is a 70 minute wait before we can order. Once we finally order there are no tables left to sit. But some table are reserved. How? We were told reservation is not possible. They also continued to serve people, even though no tables were free and there was a line until street outside.Then we wait 40 min for food. Staff was rude to customer in front of us trying to change his order, say it was not possible.If you are willing to wait 90 minutes before you can sit down to enjoy your food, this place is for you.Food 4/5Service 3/5Athmosphere 3/5, it was cold inside due to window and door being open all timeToo bad this looks like an unorganized nightmare, but the food is good.

We both had the hand-pulled noodle soup with beef and it was delicious. They are generous with the toppings and the chili oil, cilantro and lemon really make the dish. The broth and noodles were amazing and there was a lot of depth to the soup. Highly recommend.

Yellow River Lanzhou handpulled Noodles
We tried their traditional beef noodles and appreciated how quick the service was. The big hearty bowl of traditional beef noodles was very comforting. I wish that the soup was served hotter and more flavorful, with more garlic, bone broth and spring onion flavor. But the noodles (i ordered the thick variant) were chewy and hand-pulled really well. The side dish of pickled veggies was also a great compliment to the meal.

I have been here twice, one time for lunch and one time for dinner. Both times, the food was absolutely delicious! It is not expensive to go here and very good quality of food.The entrance is a bit hard to find and not that welcoming. But once you enter the place, it looks quite nice and smells really good.You order at the front, their menu is not that big but it all looks tastefull. It is usually a bit busy. However, I never had to wait long for my food to arrive.I am definitely going here more often!

Delicious authentic homemade noodle + you got side salad and a drink too for around €15/pp. The place is spacious enough, you need to go to the counter to order and pay :)

Yellow River Lanzhou handpulled Noodles
Noodles is very delicious! They are fresh made. I come here often by walk, from Eastern part of Rotterdam. To have noodles here is a good choice if you decide to have some simple Chinese style lunch!
