Clear Communication Speech Therapy

Stephanie worked with our 7-year-old daughter from January-May 2020. We had such a good experience! She was warm and welcoming, and my daughter was instantly comfortable with her. We started with once a week in her home, then shifted to twice a week on Zoom once COVID-19 kicked up, and the speech gains in both contexts were phenomenal. Stephanie went out of her way to connect with my daughter and keep her engaged with games and by tying her interests into the words they worked with to keep things fun. She really taught my daughter how to understand what's going on in her mouth and how to work her way towards clearer consonant sounds. Several people have remarked to me how much my daughter's speech has changed in such a short time. I actually think that her reading improved, too, because she now has a much better understanding of the connection to how things sound and how the words looks on the page. And through it all, my daughter loved going to her sessions. I highly recommend Stephanie!

My son has been seeing Stephanie for almost 6 months and we are very happy with his progress. Stephanie's support has improved his communication skills and reduced his frustration.Stephanie's sessions are meticulously planned to his interests but she is flexible in adjusting the session to follow his lead, where appropriate, whilst supporting his needs. My son literally jumps for joy when we see Stephanie and is excited to participate in activities. Stephanie has also been supportive and communicative to us as parents; we have weekly targets and receive a weekly email summary of the session to remind us of the week's target. Both my Son and I have loved our experience with Stephanie these past 9 months. When he started, his speech included only a few words and even those were greatly unintelligible.   Within a few sessions, he was using single and soon after two words to explain what he wanted.  He's now using 8 word sentences! Due to the pandemic, our seesions were limited to taking place online which is even harder to catch a two year olds interest.  Here too Stephanie did an amazing job, mixing up animated books, games and various toys to hold his attention.  After each session, we would receive a feedback mail and some homework ".  A great help
