Lovely atmosphere and safe space!! Definitely more appealing to an older audience but we really enjoyed our night here. despite being a male dominated space our group (2M and 4F) didn’t feel unwelcome. The bartenders were lovely, prices pretty steep but average for amsterdam.

The Queen’s Head was wonderful!! I had so much fun attending drag bingo. Everyone was so welcoming. The staff also helped me get home safely after my phone died. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Amsterdam!

Walked past and had to come in for a drink. One drink we said.... It turned into 6 and 8 games of bingo.Tom. The best barman in Amsterdam. So friendly and VERY handsome.QUEEN Tabitha is the most beautiful host. Intelligent, funny, gorgeous and got the whole bar partying!!This place is one of Amsterdam's treasures. Make sure you visit.

Well, as soon as I entered and went up to the bartender to ask for a drink I was asked to either go and stand in a corner which was already pretty crowded, or leave, as the bar was full due to a weekly event and a popular host. He was polite, I’ll give him that.It never feels nice being asked to leave, especially considering I was by myself, not with a group of people. The embarrassment of walking in, past quite a few people and then right back out the door ain’t pleasant.Walked past it again after a while and everyone inside seemed to be having a good time, so I guess it a fun place. My recommendation to the venue is to maybe have someone at the door and when they reach capacity to just not allow anymore people in.

Such a nice pub, with very friendly staff. I felt well taken care of. The highlight was absolutely Drag Queen Bingo, I would recommend this to anyone looking to spend the evening laughing and enjoying an excellent performance.

I have randomly entered this gay friendly bar by accident. It looked normal from the outside even though it had a rainbow flag hanging from the outside. I went inside and ordered a drink. The bartender (with the earring) was friendly and he was definitely the main reason i came back for the second time. It was the first time i was in a gay-friendly bar and i am honestly enjoying the atmosphere from this bar a lot more than the previous normal bars i went to(even in different provinces) I went their twice so far and both times he was friendly and in my opinion the prices seems fair to most bars out there. I have ordered a jagermeister and limoncello and they were both filled up with ice cubes(if you wish) to the top instead of half way filled or in a shot glass. (You get a 9CL glass if i wasn't mistaken, just the normal drinking glass size). The bar itself may look small at his own but they do have a second room.. They do give out nuts once in awhile and they do have drag queens. The drink menu is down below. If you have never visited a gay bar this is definitely a good first-time experience (in my eyes). Please do keep in mind: They do NOT have a dark room. This is a friendly place to all kind of genders. No nudity.Everything what i have written here is not based off a different review and it's completely my opinion and thoughts. The reviews that i do write are completely honest and may either be good/positive or bad/negative feedback. Honestly goes along way and should shared with others no matter if they are good or bad.

Would have been a nice place if not for the black bartender that was extremely rude. While my friend was taking a picture with the drag queen, he rudely poked me in the back three times because he “needed space to work” instead of saying excuse me like a normal person would. When I called him out he told me to go if I think he is rude to which I gladly did. Would never come back to this place. All my friends who he served experienced rudeness from this particular waiter as well.

Great atmosphere. Staff is friendly, no matter who you are. Good selection on drinks and prices are reasonable. Good music to set you on the mood.
