One of the most interesting museums I have ever visited! It costs only €10 for students and even cheaper for kids. It is definitely worth seeing as you will some some mind-blowing things, read some weird facts and see how different microbes look like. It is definitely a unique experience. It will be also beneficial to your hygiene as you will definitely improve it after being in Micropia! Overall, a must-see museum in Amsterdam!

It's a cool museum where you can discover the invisible life. There are many microscopes which you can use to check the microbes. You can also collect stamps from different tools and then check them in the endI really loved the human body scanner, which tells the number of average number of microbes in all human parts and gives a lot of information about what is going on inside our bodies. The ant exhibition is great. You can see by yourself some the ants are serving food to their queen, which stays hidden inside.

Super cool! Went with a group of adults, we all enjoyed the museum. Wish I could take my lab on a field trip here ☺️I loved so many things, it’s hard to pick. I got excited when I saw they had a Microbe of the Month!

Probably better for kids and school groups? It was interesting enough but many exhibits were out of order and I was hoping for some more fun facts" or real world application. A lot of this is similar to what we learn in high school."

Very interesting museum on microbes. Educational but still easy to understand for everyone. Especially the first floor was a wonderful trip. If you're lucky, you can get a free short lecture from one of the lab techs, which is easy to follow and interesting as well. If you love waterbears, this is a must-visit.Sadly, some parts of the exhibition weren't working well anymore. We had issues with one or two microscopes, the bioluminescent fish had no working information boards on their tank anymore, on the ground floor the smelling buttons" didn't all work and the stamp-scanner didn't scan well. Would be nice if they could maintain these technical aspects better. Still

Amazing museum about microbes. The museum focuses around bacteria, viruses and microorganisms. The museum basically consists out of several tables that each focus on a single or a group of bacteria/viruses/microorganisms with one or multiple microscopes to see it. There are many interesting things told in the museum, like why some algue are forming bigger groups and therefore are less green. Also, there is an ant colony that interacts with three different bacteria for its food, which is very interesting. Along the museum you can collect stamps for the different viruses and bacteria that you have seen. There are also some interactive activities like a scan of your body to count the amount of bacteria on you.
