AlbaAlba is a natural wine restaurant that I can't recommend highly enough. From the moment we walked in, I was struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a welcoming vibe which can be a rare thing when you live in Amsterdam.The minimalist menu was filled with tempting food options, we opted for the 3 course menu.The wine card on the other hand was very extensive.Throughout the dinner, the service was very friendly and attentive. It was clear that they truly care about providing a great dining experience.Overall, I can't say enough positive things about Alba. If you're looking for a natural wine restaurant with fantastic food, great atmosphere, and friendly service, this is definitely the place to go. I can't wait to come back and try more of their amazing wines!

Not a very nice experience… had high expectations based on their professional looking instagram page, but did not live up to it. We came, took 10 minutes before we got the menus (needed to ask for it). The waitresses were just cleaning tables and seemed to be ignoring us so took very long before we could order wine even though it was not busy. We were deciding between two wines and decided to try one of them. She poured a bit into our glasses, and it wasn’t for us so we asked if we could have the other one but then she went “well… I already opened this one now.” Okay? Then what’s the point of giving us a taste if we can’t be honest and say it was bad…? We did not get a wine cooker, so had to ask for that as well, which again was difficult with them ignoring our table. It took them over an hour to ask if we wanted to eat so there was no point anymore. Overall it was not a nice vibe, no one working there seemed to be having a good time and just came across as rude and annoyed when you asked something. Feel like the place could have a lot of potential if it wasn’t for the extremely bad service. Very disappointing experience that made me never want to go back or recommend to anyone.

Excellent food paired with interesting natural wines. Would definitely recommend going here for the creative execution of the dishes. All dishes made the ingredients shine.

The restaurants location is good and nice sitting outdoor under the trees.The Food is ok but very small portions and overpriced.We got from the appetizers: Leek sesame - Spinach stracciatella di bufala - Dutch yellow tail.For the main Hake and Guinea fowl followed by the desert(Mango lime and Ginger white chocolate)

A cosy place for shared dining with a lovely selection of natural wines. The meals combine comforting flavours with artistic sensibility. I would highly recommend ordering various dishes to share as the portion sizes were quite small. Staff were also very friendly :)

Weer heerlijk gegeten bij Alba, met fantastische wijnen toe. Alba is één van mijn favorieten in Oost, omdat je écht lekker eet (een tikkeltje culinair) voor hele goede prijzen. Daarnaast was de dame in de bediening echt heel gezellig en behulpzaam en zit je heerlijk op het fijne terras. Zeker een aanrader!

It’s a very nice natural wine restaurant with very tasty food. You can either choose single dish, or can take the 3-course option.I went for the 3 course option, and it was definitely worth it. All 3 was very delicious and different than wha you can find anywhere else.We had the orange wine, (I don’t remember its exact name but it was from Puglia) it was a smooth natural wine, if you don’t prefer the pungent taste of natural wines, this one is for you.Atmosphere is very cosy, they have a nice terrace in front, although it’s next to the street, it’s still calm and quiet.All in all, definitely worth a try.

This restaurant really sets the bar high. Friendly and professional personnel, great and unique flavours and a very chill outside terrace. During the colder days, the restaurant inside is very cozy. I can’t recommend it enough!
