Amity International School, Amsterdam

We have been so pleased with the education our two children are receiving at Amity. The dedication and passion of the teachers come shining through each and every day. My children come home smiling and chatting happily about their day. The school has worked hard to adjust to the challenges of these Covid circumstances and has continued to deliver solid coursework even during times of distance learning. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Vibrant, warm and welcoming international school in a beautiful spacious location. Easily accessible from Amsterdam, Amstelveen and surrounding area. It’s a young school but has an ambitious, dedicated core of fantastic teachers. Our move here has been so much easier because we chose Amity. Highly recommend.

A young, expat friendly international school. High teacher to student ratio and decent facilities. Follows IB curriculum. My kid loves going to school.

Más que un colegio es una empresa, pequeña, sin preparación, en menos de un año cambian constantemente de profesores y personal.Su sistema no es para nada equivalente al precio que pagas.Recomiendo hagan un buen research de colegios antes de considerar este colegio como opción.Como hispanohablantes no dejaban a mi hijo conversar en español en el aula entre muchas cosas, puede escribirme. Estoy a su disposición por más información.Como familia nuestra experiencia fue horrible en cuanto a soporte emocional en un cambio de país y contención con un menor.NO LO RECOMIENDO

学校紹介のイベントに参加させていただきました。素晴らしい学校です！開放感、清潔さ、自由さ。Amsterdam、Amsterveenから近く立地も良しです。説明を聞きましたが、授業も充実していそうです。インド系の出資の学校、先生はイギリス人かオランダ人とのこと。

I can’t believe someone wrote a review using my name (C.K. Thomsen).I would never classify Amity as 1 star, because I am very happy with everything I have seen and with the things my children have learned and experienced there.It is an amazing school! It exceeds my expectations every day!

The school finds a way to remove negative reviews so don’t believe the positive reviews that are visible. The reality is the school is a recent start-up owned by an in-transparent private foundation based in India, and therefore has no independent board and is not audited by Dutch Education Authorities, nor subject to its laws. As a result of this unconventional set up, the school has an amateuristic management team who are not directly contactable, offers little student support services, and has very few students in higher grades, with no gym and no outdoor facilities. There are far better professionally run school options available in Amsterdam.
